Technology and AI training for translators and interpreters

Technology changes what language work looks like faster than any other part of the profession. This page collects training on the tools themselves and on how to use them well: CAT tools and translation memory, terminology systems, machine translation and post-editing, subtitling and captioning software, remote simultaneous interpreting platforms, and the growing set of AI tools that sit alongside all of it. Alongside the practical how-to sessions there is material on judgement — what to automate and what not to, how to price work that involves post-editing, and how to keep client data confidential when using cloud tools. Sessions range from vendor-run product training to independent, critical assessments. Skilliga is free and volunteer-run, with no paid placements.
