As linguists, we can all experience pressure to keep up with the speed of change and innovation and we can often find ourselves becoming increasingly busier without the opportunity to create space to slow down and reflect upon the alignment between our values and actual valued living. Digital technologies afford us an array of benefits by greatly increasing the range and speed of our communications and have also raised expectations as to how quickly work can be completed and clients responded to.
