Whether youโ€™ve never taken on an SEO project before, or youโ€™re a seasoned marketing translator who needs to get up to speed with how search has changed, this session is for you.

SEO localisation is often treated as a technical add-on: find the keywords, slot them in, done. But there's a lot more going on than that.

When you localise content for a Spanish or German market, search behaviour looks quite different from the English-language original. The queries people use, the intent behind them, the sources they trust. And with AI-driven search changing what gets cited and what gets ignored, the picture has shifted quite a bit even in the last two years.

So how do you translate in a way that performs in the target market?

This workshop covers what SEO localisation involves in practice today. Youโ€™ll work through a structured workflow covering:

  • Understanding local search intent, and where it diverges from the source market

  • Conducting keyword research that goes beyond literal equivalents

  • Adapting content for local audiences and AI search visibility

  • Packaging your deliverables in a way clients know what to do with

The hands-on practice will draw on Maria's experience in English-to-Spanish work, but the methodology is language agnostic and applies to any language pair.

You'll finish the session with a clear process you can take straight to your next project.
