METM26

The annual Mediterranean Editors and Translators Meeting (METM) is an established CPD and networking event – a highlight in the calendar for many editors, translators, interpreters and other providers of English-language support services in the Mediterranean area and beyond. Each meeting offers one and a half days of peer-developed presentations and keynote speeches, two half days of pre-conference workshops, and a programme of off-METM events.

In 2026 we are returning to Italy, to the medieval hilltop town of Perugia, the capital of Umbria, known as the "green heart of Italy". Our venue will be the Hotel Giò Wine & Jazz Area, one of the main conference centres in central Italy, located just outside Perugia's stunning old town.
