This Wednesday at 7 PM CET I’ll be doing an interactive workshop on Phonological Awareness for Interpreters.

During this class you will discover:

• the history of modern phonetics

• how we classify vowels and why

• the subtle differences in seemingly identical consonants across languages

• the social power of pronunciation

This workshop will be useful for:

•interpreters who want to improve their accent and need the right tools

• language teachers who help students with pronunciation

• interpreters who are passionate about linguistics and want a refresher course

The workshop is taught by me (Mykhailo ‘Meesh’ Khokhlovych) – an English-native Ukrainian interpreter with a degree in Linguistics from Utrecht university, a decade of experience in the booth and 15 years of teaching experience, along with a Cambridge DELTA.

Admission is EUR 15
