SESSION 2 | Friday, 6th February 2026 - 4 - 7 PM CET - ASR: AUTOMATIC SPEECH RECOGNITION, THE INTERPRETER'S DIGITAL EAR
A technical and practical focus on real-time transcription systems to support simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, analyzing pros, cons, and hardware/software configurations.

• Technical Setup: How to set up virtual cables (VB Audio Cable) and audio mixers so the computer "listens to itself."

• Systems Comparison:
  

  • Zoom: Managing automated captions (CC), settings, and testing.

  • Cymo Note: Configuring the complete suite for physical and virtual booths.

  • InterpretBank Live: Using the ASR system integrated into the software.

• Comparative Analysis: Final comparison between the tested systems to choose the solution best suited to your needs.

SESSION 3 | Saturday, 21st February 2026 - 10 AM - 1 PM CET - ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) SUPPORTING THE HUMAN FACTOR
A critical and practical overview of AI tools, going beyond generic models to explore specific tools for the linguist's workflow.

• Beyond ChatGPT: Exploration of specific tools for interpreters and translators, not limited to generic LLMs.
