Interpreting for clients in legal venues, who are vulnerable for whatever reason, can be demanding and certainly requires special interpreter skills. This webinar will cover the following vulnerable client groups that legal interpreters often find themselves working with such as clients who:

- Have mental health issues

- Have physical health issues

- Are children and teenagers

- Are elderly

- Are not legally represented

The webinar will also consider the roles of some of the individuals, who support vulnerable clients in legal venues and their impact in terms of them being yet another person in the room for the client to engage with and for the interpreter to interpret for:

- Intermediaries

- Appropriate Adults

- Mckenzie friends

- Lawyers

- Family and friends

Practising and newly qualified legal interpreters, DPSI Law exam candidates, lawyers and other legal professionals will find this webinar useful.
